چکیده
Abstract: Risk stratification of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients is very important to determine patient care and prognosis. The reliable parameters include C-reactive protein (CRP), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR). This study aimed the relationship between CRP, LDH, NLR levels with severity COVID-19 patients. An observational a cross-sectional approach was conducted at Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin on 91 eligible subjects. A logistic regression test variables COVID-19. results showed that there no significant CRP (prevalence odds (POR) 0.85, 95% confidence interval (CI 95%) 0.34-2.09, p=0.72). There difference mean LDH in severe compared non-severe (1006 + 601.77 vs 543.5 480.41, p<0.001), POR 4.23, CI 1.56-11.45, p=0.005; also values (9.01 6.32 5.38 5.03, p=0.002) 12.21 3.80-39.31, p<0.001. were predictors severity.

Relationship between Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte Ratio and the Severity of Coronary Artery Disease in Patients Undergoing Cardiac Catheterization
Introduction: Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is considered as an independent predictor of long-term prognosis in the individual patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). This study sought to assess the relationship between NLR and CAD severity in Iranian patients undergoing cardiac catheterization.Material and Methods: This prospective study was conducted on 500 patients with acute cor...

Background: To determine relationship between the levels of serum Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH)on admission and prognosis of dengue fever. Methods: Patients (n=62) admitted with the diagnosis of dengue fever were included. On admission, serum LDH levels were measured in all patients and to find relationship we monitored all patients upto discharge. Monitoring was done for vitals, different blood ...

Background: The present study aimed to compare the complete blood count (CBC) indices between COVID-19 patients and the control group, and assess the relationship of these indices with COVID-19 prognosis given the role of complete blood counts in the COVID-19 prognosis. Methods: COVID-19 patients (confirmed by PCR or CT-Scan) who visited Imam Hospital in Sari were selected in this case-control...
متن کاملDiagnostic accuracy of procalcitonin, neutrophil-lymphocyte count ratio, C-reactive protein, and lactate in patients with suspected bacterial sepsis
BACKGROUND Early recognition is a key factor to achieve improved outcomes for septic patients. Combinations of biomarkers, as opposed to single ones, may improve timely diagnosis and survival. We investigated the performance characteristics of sepsis biomarkers, alone and in combination, for diagnosis of verified bacterial sepsis using Sepsis-2 and Sepsis-3 criteria, respectively. METHODS Pro...

In autopsy studies, prevalence has been reported as between 15 % and 85 %. The wide range of values is believed to be due to the low sensitivity of coronary angiography in congenital anomaly diagnosis. 2,3 MB is generally benign in character but in some cases may cause complications such as unstable angina pectoris, fatal ventricular arrhythmias, acute myocardial infarct, syncope, atrioventricu...
